Volunteer Scholarship Opportunity

Thank you for your interest in our scholarship opportunity and for aligning yourself on the ever-rewarding pathway of health care. Our scholarship objective is to aid financially deserving and academically promising individuals who have elected a health care career. These scholarships are open to Johnston County & adjacent county residents.

Scholarship funds have been raised by UNC Health Johnston volunteers to provide opportunities for those in our local area to pursue a career in the health care field.

Application packets must include:

• completed application
• essay from applicant
• one letter of recommendation
• copy of the acceptance letter from the candidate’s institution of choice

Application packets must be received no later than 5:00 PM on April 15, 2026.
