Community Outreach Specialist

Morgan Lassiter has served in her current role as Community Outreach Specialist for the Mobile Outreach Unit at UNC Health Johnston for two years. Prior to her role in community outreach, Morgan spent four years serving as a CNA, also for UNC Health Johnston. She has used her skills and insight to shape the program from its inception. Morgan began her career in healthcare working as a Certified Nursing Assistant for a Cardiac Recovery Unit; she continues to work for the unit when she is not out working in her community. A Johnston County native, Morgan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Healthcare Management and certifications as a Registered Medical Assistant and Certified Nursing Assistant. She is currently working on receiving her Master’s in Healthcare Administration.

Through her experience in both clinical and community settings, Morgan has seen how preventative care can transform lives. She is passionate about bridging the gap between hospital and home, believing that meaningful health care happens when we meet people where they are.
